How we use and protect your data

Scope

This policy applies to data sent by visitors, customers, and people who contact us through the website, the order form, the checkout flow, or the support email.

What data we may collect

Depending on the touchpoint, we may collect your name or nickname, email address, country or city, order reference, birth data, main topic, optional context, and support messages.

Payment and sensitive payment-method details are handled by the checkout provider. We do not need or request full card numbers on the public website.

How we receive that data

We receive information directly when you browse the site, complete the Tally form, contact support, or purchase the product through the live checkout flow.

Why we use the information

We use data only for legitimate operational purposes: verifying orders, preparing the personalized report, delivering the PDF, responding to support requests, preventing fraud or abuse, and keeping a basic transaction record when needed for billing, disputes, or compliance.

Service providers and third parties

We may rely on external providers for specific parts of the flow, such as checkout and merchant-of-record billing, forms, website hosting, or email delivery and storage. In this project that may include services such as Creem, Tally, Vercel, and email providers. Each provider processes some data according to its own policies and infrastructure.

Transfers and storage

Some providers may process data in countries different from yours. When we use those services, we share only the information reasonably necessary to complete the order, operate the site, or resolve issues.

Retention and data minimization

We try to collect only the information needed for the service and to keep it only while there is a valid business reason to do so. That includes preparing delivery, resolving corrections, responding to disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting accounting or legal obligations.

If you already received your report and want to request deletion or correction, write to support@mapabazi.lat. When there is no obligation to keep a specific record, we will make a reasonable effort to delete or anonymize what we no longer need.

Security

We limit access to order information, avoid exposing personalized reports on public pages, and aim to maintain reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is perfect, so we cannot promise absolute security.

No sale of data or ad profiling

We do not sell personal data. We do not publish your report or your birth information as open content. As of this policy, the public site does not use advertising pixels or analytics tools aimed at commercial profiling. If that changes, this page should be updated.

Your requests

You can request reasonable access, correction, or deletion of the data you sent us by writing to support@mapabazi.lat. We aim to respond within 3 business days, although some cases may take longer if verification or retention obligations are involved.

Minors

This service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a minor submitted personal data without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review the case.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy if the product, purchase flow, providers, or operating practices change. The version published on this page is the most current reference.
